Gestalt Therapy and Training Center
I graduated with a BA in psychology from St Joseph University in Beirut in 1983, and achieved a postgraduate degree in clinical psychology, from the Lebanese University in 2000. From 1983 – 2000, I practiced my clinical work in several hospitals, under psychiatric and psychoanalytic supervision. After that, I settled on my own.
In 1990, I entered a yearly training program in California, Woodland Hills, which targeted: The didactic of Gestalt Therapy and interactional group therapy. I was certified by David Gorton, Ph.D and director of the Gestalt Therapy and Training Center, to perform training in Gestalt Therapy for students at the B.A, M.A, pre-doctoral and doctoral levels.
In 1996, I attended the following Continuing Education Activity: “On A Global Vision: Taking Gestalt Therapy into the 21st Century”, sponsored by The center of Gestalt development, Inc., d/b/a The Gestalt Journal.
In 1998, I became a chartered member of the International Gestalt Therapy Association (IGTA).
Since 2000, I am an affiliate to an international company, where my areas of emphasis are briefing and debriefing critical cases in companies. Since 2008, I am a member of the Syndicate of Psychotherapists and Psychoanalysts in Lebanon.
